The Rowdy Rottie is a small, home-based gourmet dog barkery in the Winter Haven/Lakeland area of Polk County. We hand-make and fresh-bake every wonderful treat. All of our treats are natural and organic, meaning they contain no artificial preservatives or flavors. We feel that if we can't pronounce it, it shouldn't go into our kitchen.

To us, our babies, furry companions or whatever name you choose to call them, give us so much. They show us what true living is about: rambunctious joy, endless and rentless love, abundant sharing, compassion with no strings, living life in the moment, true and deep loyalty, and never-ending forgiveness.

That's why everything we make is safe for animals and their people (and yes, we really do taste test and eat our treats along with our dogs)

That's why everything we sell or buy is either made locally or in the USA

That's why our packaging is 100% biodegradeable/compostable and minimalist

That's why our business cards are printed on hemp paper and our brochures and labels are printed on plantable paper

That's why we compost all our scraps and have future plans to install solar power and a rain harvesting system

That's why we use enironmentally friendly products to clean our home and kitchen

That's why we use carbon offset on all shipping and delivery

That's why we partner with great people and animals who are doing great things (both small and large) to make the world a better place...because "there is never a wrong time to do the right thing!"

That's why we donate our organic treats and goods as support for everything from neighborhood clean-ups, dog rescues, folk art/green art benefits, sustainable farming and community gardens, low-income families and the elderly and more!
